Why is it important to intervene early?

Child development research consistently shows that the earliest years of life are the most crucial in terms of learning and development. It is during the early years that the rate of human learning and development is the most rapid. We want to help your family seize the many teachable moments in your child's life - early - while he is in his greatest stage of readiness. We want him to become the best that he can be - in his family, in his school and in his community.

The most dedicated teacher that your child can have is you - her family - because you are the ones who love her and are most committed to helping her. But, sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities of caring for your child with special needs. With lots of support from your early interventionist, you will discover that you can do this - because you are your child's best teacher.

Every parent wants her/his child to become an independent member of society. While every child will grow and learn, some children will need extra help. That's where parents come into the picture. No one knows the future but what we do know is that by starting as early as possible to help your child, you will be offering him the best possible chance to be successful in school, to find future employment and to lead a happy life!
