Early Intervention Nova Scotia (EINS) is a registered society with the Societies Act of Nova Scotia and is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Association was formed in 1996 to represent Early Intervention program staff, board members and the field of Early Intervention in Nova Scotia.
The Associations goals are:
• To provide a voice for Early Intervention issues
• To promote public awareness and education regarding Early Intervention and the children and families served
• To promote personal and professional development in the field of Early Intervention
EINS membership is diverse and open to Early Intervention program employees and board members, parents of children with special needs, professionals and organizations who work with children with special needs and their families. The EINS Board of Directors has representation from across the province.
